Micro Bikini’s have become popular over the past few years with woman who feel that less is more. The Micro gained it’s inevitable development from the thong bikini, and typifies the openness of today’s social culture. With the popularity of sunbathing without clothes in the 1970′s, an increasing amount of beaches outlawed naked sunbathers. So, in order to get around the ban, bikini’s were developed that covered just the parts of the body that were termed ‘illegal’. Hence the nickname ‘illegal bikini’.
